We’re excited to share some big news: Chariot, Drive a Senior Austin, and Senior Access have officially joined forces and have become one unified organization … Drive a Senior!
By bringing together our people, our resources, and our passion, we’ll be able to:
- Reach more older adults across Central Texas
- Remove more barriers to independence
- Provide even greater access to transportation and support services
What hasn’t changed?
While our name is new, our mission remains the same: helping older adults live independently, avoid social isolation, and age in place by providing transportation and other support services. The same friendly people and compassionate care you’ve come to know and trust aren’t going anywhere — we’re simply getting stronger together.
What does this mean for you?
- Clients: You’ll still talk with the same people you know, at the same phone number and email address.
- Volunteers: You’ll continue serving your favorite clients, with even more opportunities to make a difference.
- Supporters: Your generosity goes further than ever, helping us serve more seniors across a broader region.
This merger is about creating a stronger, more sustainable future for the older adults in our community.
